So much of our self-image comes from what’s sitting on top of our heads. From culture shakers to opinion shapers, the avant garde to the retro, from rebels of all ages to women with roots in their tradition and heritage, we explore the cultural and social signals that hair transmits.
Inspired by a study from Dr. Mariann LeFranc of Yale, Pantene interviewed over 100 women to hear how they felt about their hair. The most unifying response, through all the diversity and differences, was that we all see hair as an expression of who we are and who we want to be. It’s not frivolous or vain, hair really matters.
We were asked to cover the hundreds of amazing places to discover in the Meatpacking District. But we only had two days. We shot from sunrise ‘til sunset to cover some of the most amazing hidden gems the city has to offer. An expert team, a steady cam, lots of Kobrick coffee and 30+ locations.
We redesigned the Dermstore brand + website while delivering several hundred assets each month. With tiny budgets, we created gold standard content focused on skin that speaks to the loyal customer of Dermstore. This work led to Dermstore’s most successful Black Friday + Cyber week ever.

Olay has a strong heritage in facial skincare. So when they decided to enter the market as the 24th body lotion on the shelf, we tapped into that heritage and modernized it. We told women, this is your chance to use the proven benefits of Olay on your whole body. I worked on everything from naming and packaging design to print ads and TV to launch the brand in its first two years.

Suave takes shine to a new level with a partnership with FashionStar + Nicole Ricci, highlighting new stylists/influencers and sharing stories of the making of the next fashion designer.
Managed all creative direction, UX, influencer selections, custom content development, platform integration experiences, and insight-driven audience engagement on the project. Soon after the site launched, Moroccan Infusion became the #1 shampoo and conditioner, beating Pantene for the first time ever. Unilever awarded the site a best-in-class design award.

Olay recognized this and created a website to help consumers find exactly what products were perfect for their skin type. This was the first of its kind and before the rush of apps that today do the same thing.
